The First Steps for People with Dementia series is designed to help individuals newly diagnosed with a dementia and their caregivers to understand their diagnosis and the changes they experience.

For family members and friends of persons with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. This four session series provides an introduction to Alzheimer’s disease and dementias.

For family members and friends of persons with middle stage Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. This 3 session series will focus on communication strategies, activities of daily living, how to manage behaviors and caring for yourself. This series is offered in partnership with allied community support services.
