Two Exciting Public Education Events for January!

Alzheimer Awareness Month is the perfect time to learn!

This year during Alzheimer Awareness Month, our Education team is proud to present two online learning events that will educate, empower and even inspire!

First, on January 26th at 7:00PM, we invite you to join us for a Zoom lecture with the wonderful Dr. Barbara Panning, a Professor in Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University Southern California to talk about Genetics, Gender and Alzheimer’s Disease. Dr. Panning will share her research findings on why women generally progress more slowly on their dementia journey than men.

Next, on January 29th at 10:00AM, we hope you’ll tune in via Zoom for “I Have Dementia: An Interview with Debbie, a Person Living with Dementia”. Please join us as Debbie shares her experiences on how to live and thrive with dementia. There will be time for your questions to be answered.
