Covid-19 Service Protocols (as of April 19)
Alzheimer Society’s response to new Covid-19 restrictions (Effective April 19th until further notice)
At the Alzheimer Society, we take your health and wellbeing very seriously.
Right now, there are new Covid-19 variants of concern spreading in Ontario.
We want to do our part to keep our clients and those in our community healthy and to help slow down the spread of the illness so we are making some temporary changes, until further notice:
– All in-person groups are cancelled until further notice;
– Volunteer-visiting is cancelled until further notice;
– Home visits and office visits are by appointment only, and only when virtual care is not possible;
– Clients are welcome to connect with staff by phone or video conference.
We will continue to use phone and technology tools (ex. Zoom) to deliver care virtually, including individual services and group programming.
