Walk for Alzheimer’s


The Ohsweken Walk was a Medicine Walk that took place on May 11th. Darlene LaForme from the Diabetes Centre organized this event and participants from the Six Nations community attended and raised funds totalling $200.

The Brantford/Brant County Walk was held at Syl Apps in Paris and was a merged outdoor walk of Brantford/Brant County participants that over exceeded the goal of $40,000 coming in at $43,370. We thank all of our sponsors and donors for helping make this event a success. Special thanks to our Platimum Sponor Waterous Holden Amey and Hitchon for their generous support.



A crisp spring morning greeted our participants at the Investors Group Walk for Alzheimer’s at the Caledonia Fairgrounds.  Thank-you to all who contributed.  Together, we raised $21,000.

Stoney Creek

Thanks to all who supported the Investor Group Walk for Alzheimer’s  at Sheridan College in Oakville ($50,000) and at F.H Sherman Recreation and Learning Centre in Stoney Creek ( $26,000).
