The language we use to describe dementia may perpetuate stigma. By being more conscious of the language we use, we can be more respectful, and perhaps improve the quality of life of people living with dementia and their families.

In this session, you will learn more about the power of words, the link between language and stigma, and some examples of person-centred language.

This lecture is presented in partnership with iGeriCare
